Graphic Valley

Sunne has a strong tradition in the field of graphic design and a soundly established graphic industry. Broby Grafiska’s successful concept consists of our close cooperation with the local and regional network, which comprises everything from sole proprietorships to multinational groups such as Tetra Pak, Mondi AB and Miller Graphics Scandinavia AB.

SweFlex, the association for the flexographic industry in Sweden, has about 100 member companies and is based at the school, as well as the research and development company Svenska FlexografiInstitutet AB.
Alongside the industry association and the research institute, Broby Grafiska is part of a local industry cluster called Graphic Valley.

Svenska FlexografiInstitutet AB is an important research and development partner; it is jointly owned by Sunne Municipality and SweFlex, the association for the flexographic industry in Sweden.

SweFlex

The Swedish Flexographic Association (SweFlex), with approximately 100 member companies have their headquarters at Broby Grafiska. SweFlex collaborates with the flexographic association in both Denmark, Norway, Poland and South Africa.

Karlstad University

Karlstad University is an important research and development partner within the graphic area. Researchers from Karlstad University on doctorate programmes are linked to Broby Grafiska, which contributes to knowledge transfer between the academic world and practical work.

The Packaging Arena

In a unique collaborative venture with Karlstad University, the Paper Province and DoTank, Broby Grafiska has developed the regional cluster called the Packaging Arena. The vision is to bring together the world’s best packaging expertise and offer its services to the global market. The Packaging Arena coordinates and implements business development, entrepreneurship, training and R&D.
